Our OSG Weekly Update is sent out once a week to provide you with the most up to date information on what is happening at O. S. Geiger School.

Photo Retakes on October 28 

If your child was not present on the previous photo days or you would like their photo re-taken, please let their teacher know that you would like their photo taken on October 28. This will ensure they visit with the Lifetouch photographers on this day and get their photo taken. 

Halloween 

Students are invited to wear Halloween costumes to school on Friday, October 30, if they choose, to celebrate Halloween at school. Wearing a costume is optional. If students choose to wear a costume, please ensure they do not include fake blood, very scary masks or weapons of any kind with their costume. While teachers may plan for Halloween learning activities during class time, we ask that treats are kept at home. 

Fun Lunch on November 25 

Our next Fun Lunch will be on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 from Cedar’s Deli. Orders must be submitted online by Friday, November 21 at 11:59pm.  
To order fun lunch for your child, please log in or create an account at: www.healthyhunger.ca  
Every lunch ordered helps raise money that supports school council initiatives and helps our students with school-based activities, including field trips, special guests and school-wide events like Sports Day!
