Dear OSG Families,
Our OSG Weekly Update is sent out once a week to provide you with the most up to date information on what is happening at O. S. Geiger School.
We hope everyone had a fun, safe weekend with Halloween activities! Please be sure that your child(ren) is leaving candy and treats at home as we are focused on healthy eating at school and have several students with severe allergies that may be impacted.

School Council on Monday
Our next School Council meeting will be tomorrow, Monday, November 2. The meeting is at the school OR online at 6:00 PM-7:00 PM. If you choose to attend online, please use this link School Council Link. All parents are welcome to attend monthly School Council meetings to learn about the school, learn about the learning across each grade and to provide feedback to the administration so we can make OSG the best place for learning for your children.
Please note – these meetings are with the school administration and not with your child’s teacher.
Dress for the Weather
As the weather is getting colder, especially in the mornings, please be sure that your child is leaving home each morning with a warm jacket, gloves or mittens, a hat and boots or warm shoes. If you require support accessing warm winter clothing, please contact the main office at 403-777-6950 ext. 0.
Student Learning Conferences - November 26-27
Student Learning Conferences will take place this month on:
Thursday, November 26
-Kindergarten: 8:00-7:30 PM (no school for kindergarten on this day)
-Grades 1-6: 3:30 PM-7:30 PM (regular school day for gr. 1-6)
-Friday, November 27
-Kindergarten – grade 6: from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM (no school for ALL students on this day)
Parents have the option of attending a 15-minute in-person or online parent-teacher conference. Bookings can be done through your MyCBE account beginning at 8:00 AM on Thursday, November 19.
Fun Lunch on November 25
Our next fun lunch will be on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 from Cedar’s Deli. Orders must be submitted online by Friday, November 20 at 11:59pm.

Every lunch ordered helps raise money that supports school council initiatives and help our students with school-based activities, including field trips, special guests and school-wide events like Sports Day!
