Dear OSG Families, The Pancake Breakfast was a huge success on Friday! Thank you to Rotary International for providing this wonderful opportunity for our students. Open HouseOn Thursday, September 26 from 4:00 PM-6:30 PM, we will be having an Open House for students in grade K-5. On Thursday, September 19, you will be able to sign up in your MyCBE account for a 30 minute time slot to meet with your child’s teacher and tour the classroom and the school. An email with more information about signing up will be shared in the coming days. Terry Fox RunWe would like to announce that our school will be proudly taking part in the 2024 Terry Fox School Run, scheduled to take place on Friday, September 20. We are excited to share this community activity with the students of O.S Geiger. This year's fundraising goal is $800.00. We are encouraging each student to bring a ‘Toonie for Terry’ or any other donation amount to which it is greatly appreciated! If you do send a donation, please have the student give the money to their classroom teacher and the money will be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation to support finding a cure for cancer. We are also in need of parent volunteers to support staff and students during our run on September 20 at 10:00am. If you are interested in volunteering and have a valid police clearance and vulnerable sector search, please reply to this message. We look forward to this event every year and thank you for taking part to make it a success!
