Dear OSG Families,

As October comes to a close, students have settled into routines and are deeply engaged in learning opportunities in classrooms and around the school. This year, we are strongly focused on the values of Respect, Reciprocity and Responsibility. This year, students will earn “Tiger Tickets” to acknowledge actions they take around the school community that demonstrate these values. For the month of November, we will specifically focus on RESPECT. Stay tuned for examples of ways we, Geiger Tigers, are showing respect for ourselves, one another, the school and the land!

We would like to wish all families that celebrate Diwali, a safe and happy celebration this week!

Photo Retakes

Photo retakes will take place on October 30. If your child was absent on the original photo day or if you would like to request a retake, please notify their teacher so they know to send them to get their picture taken.

Halloween

On Thursday, October 31, students are welcome to wear orange and black or dress up in costumes. Please note that costumes must not include weapons of any kind, fake blood, or scary masks. Additionally, we kindly ask that you do not send treats or food for your child to share with their class, as we are focused on healthy eating and have several students with severe food allergies.
