Our next 2 Fun Lunch dates are: 

*December 4 – Coco Brooks pizza *orders due by 11:59 PM on November 29 

*January 16 – Subway *orders due by 11:59 PM on January 11

To create a Healthy Hunger account, please follow the steps in this Healthy Hunger Order Guide . If you had a healthy hunger account last year, you will need to re-add your child(ren) to your account. 

Learning Conferences 

This month, we will be having our first Student Learning Conferences of the year on November 28 and 29. You can sign up for a 15 minute individual conference time with your child’s teacher to discuss your child’s academic progress at school. Registration to sign up for a conference time will open on November 21 in your MyCBE account. The times for conferences are: 

Thursday, November 28  

Kindergarten: 8:00 AM-7:30 PM **NO SCHOOL FOR KINDERGARTEN on this day 

Grades 1-6: 3:30 PM-7:30 PM **This is a regular school day for students in grades 1-6 

Friday, November 29 

Kindergarten-Grade 6: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM **NO SCHOOL FOR ALL STUDENTS on this day 

Tiger Tickets 

For the month of November, we continue to focus on the value of RESPECT. Staff are excited to recognize students that are showing respect by presenting them with a Tiger Ticket. Tiger Tickets are shared on the morning announcements throughout the month. Here are some examples of how students are being respectful at OSG: 
H. and P. in room 12 helped to clean the classroom without being asked. 

E. in room 3 helped a friend that was injured. 

A. in room 11 helped to clean up a mess in the hallway. 

I. in room 16 was spotted fixing a bulletin board in the hall outside their classroom. 

Way to go, Geiger Tigers! Keep up the great work. 

School Fees 

You are now able to pay fees including lunchroom supervision, transportation and school fees. 

You can pay all school fees online using your MyCBE account. Paying online is quick and easy. Online fee payment offers flexibility in payment methods, convenience, and real-time information on payments including receipts and statements. 
-Sign in to MyCBE and click on the Fees, Waivers & Service Registration application. Select the child’s name to see a list of school fees (and to register for paid services like Transportation and Lunch Supervision). 
-Check the fees to add them to your payment cart. Select all fees you want to pay now. 
-Repeat for each child in your account. 
-Click the cart to see a summary of the charges, payment options and payment methods. 
-Select partial payment if you are unable to make a full payment (or deselect some items). 
-Enter your payment method (Credit Card) and click Submit Payment. 
-You will be taken to a confirmation screen and receive a payment confirmation by email. 

Unable to Pay: a Central Waiver is available for families who can’t afford to pay school fees. Look for the Central Fee Waiver Application under your child’s name in the application. To learn more, visit Central Fee Waivers.

CBE preferred method of payments is online. If you are unable to make your payments in MyCBE, your child’s school will be able to accept debit/credit card payments at the school.
