Dear OSG Families, 

Thank You Families! 

We would like to give a tremendous thank you to all of the families that donated items for the Staff Appreciation Lunch on Friday and an enormous thank you to our incredible School Council Executive team that organized this special event. Our hearts are full from your generosity and kindness. It is our absolute honour and pleasure to serve all of our OSG students and families each day and we greatly appreciated this gesture! 

Transportation Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year - APPLY BY JUNE 16!! 

Yellow school bus service levels and proposed fees for the 2024-2025 school year are posted. The cost will be $260/student or $130 for kindergarten students (no change from the current school year). 

What you need to know: 

-School bus service is available only to students living in Cornerstone or students in EES and PLP specialized setting classes. 

-Registration is available by logging into your MyCBE parent account and clicking on the Fees, Waivers and Service Registration tile. 

-Families must register by Sunday, June 16 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year. 

-Transportation will continue to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume. 

We encourage all families to register by the deadline if they think they will use yellow school bus transportation this fall. You can cancel before the end of September with no financial penalty.  

Year-End Online Report Cards 

Online report cards will be enabled for viewing from June 26, 2024 to July 26, 2023. During this window, parents/legal guardians are welcome to view report cards online via their MyCBE parent account. Report cards will NOT be printed off and sent home. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE  portal instead of using the PowerSchool App. 

Medication Stored in the School Office 

If you have provided us with medication for your child, please drop by the office by Friday, June 28, to pick it up. We are unable to send medication home with your child, no matter what their age/grade. Any medication not picked up by June 28 can be picked up in late August or September when the school office reopens. 

Lost & Found Items 

Please be sure to ask your child to check the lost and found for any missing items by Tuesday, June 25. Parents may drop by after school to have a look as well. Any items remaining will be donated.

June 26: Report cards viewable to families online in MyCBE accounts 

June 27: Last day of school for gr. 1-6 – EARLY DISMISSAL AT 12:00
