Dear OSG Families,

Happy Father's Day to all of our OSG Fathers and Father Figures! We hope you are having a great day!

2025-26 School Year

Just a reminder to let the school know if your child(ren) will NOT be returning to O.S. Geiger School for the 2025-26 school year.

Outstanding School Fees

2024-25 school year fees are now due! To prevent your account from going into arrears and being sent out for collection, please login to your MyCBE parent account to review your child's outstanding school fees and make a payment with a debit or credit card. Alternatively, please visit the school to make a payment. Please note that cash and cheques are no longer accepted. More information about the CBE School Fees can be located at https://cbe.ab.ca/registration/fees-and-waivers/Pages/default.aspx

Are You Concerned That You Cannot Afford to Pay School Fees? Apply for a Central Fee Waiver!

No child is ever denied access to an education at the Calgary Board of Education due to their family’s inability to pay. The CBE offers a Central Fee Waiver which is based upon income level and covers the following fees: Yellow School Bus Transportation, Lunch Supervision Service Fee and Student Supplies Fee. Please log in to your MyCBE parent account to complete the 2024/2025 Central Fee Waiver Application. More information about the Central Fee Waiver can be located at https://cbe.ab.ca/registration/fees-and-waivers/Pages/Waivers.aspx

Medication Stored in the School Office

If you have provided us with medication for your child, please drop by the office anytime by Friday, June 27, to pick it up. We are unable to send medication home with your child, no matter what their age/grade. Any medication not picked up by June 27 can be picked up in late August or September when the school office reopens.

Wednesday, June 25 - Report Cards Available Online

Families can view, download or print online report cards for students starting Wednesday, June 25 until July 25, 2025 through the MyCBE portal. Report cards will not be printed off and sent home. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.

All Sport One Day 2025

All Sport One Day is a fantastic, free sport discovery event designed specifically for children and youth aged 6 to 17. It offers a unique opportunity for young participants to try out a new sport or physical activity in a fun and supportive environment.

Whether your child is curious about learning a new skill or simply eager to get active, this event is an excellent way to introduce them to the world of sports without any financial commitment. By participating, kids can explore different sports, discover their interests, and potentially find a new passion, all while making new friends and staying active.

All Sport One Day 2025 will be held on Saturday, June 21 and Saturday, Aug. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
