Dear OSG Families,

Our Winter Solstice Celebration of Learning Concert was a tremendous success and we are so grateful for Mr. Katchur, Ms. Paddock, Mr. Mondoux and all of the staff for making this event so special. We also thank all of the students for their amazing performances and all the families that came out despite the freezing temperatures!

On Friday, buddy classes participated in Community Friday and explored the value of responsibility and how we can show responsibility at school, home, our community and on the land. Some classes welcomed a special guest speaker, Jonathan Kaiswatum, member of the Piapot Cree Nation in Treaty 4 with roots in Kainai here in Treaty 7, who shared teachings about the buffalo connected to the values of Respect, Reciprocity and Responsibility.

Last Call for Photo Orders

If you would like to place a Lifetouch Photo Order from the photo re-take day by sending the order form and money to the school, all orders need to be received at the school by Tuesday, December 16.

Illness at School

We have had many children coming to school with symptoms of the flu. To reduce the spread of germs and illness in our community, please keep your child at home if they are sick. Please also ensure all parent/guardian and emergency contact phone numbers have been updated at the school, so we are able to connect with you if your child is sick at school.
