Dear OSG Families,

We are so excited to welcome you all to O.S. Geiger School for the 2024-25 school year!

The first day of school for students in grades 1-6 is Thursday, August 29.

If your child is in kindergarten, please check the letter you received in July for the day and time your kindergarten child will come for staggered entry. If you did not receive a letter and are unsure of the staggered entry time, please call the school office at 403-777-6950, ext.0.

Classroom Assignment

Tomorrow, your child’s teacher will be emailing you to introduce themselves and provide you with information about the first day of school, including where to meet in the morning on the first day.

Transportation

If you live in Cornerstone or have a child in PLP or EES and your child will be taking the bus, please check your MyCBE account for information about the bus route and bus stop and pick up/drop off times. Bussing for students in grades 1-6 begins on the first day of school, August 29.

Just a reminder that there is no bussing for kindergarten students on Thursday and Friday due to staggered entry. Bussing for kindergarten will begin on Tuesday, September 3.

Lunchroom Supervision

If your child will be staying at school for lunch, registration for lunchroom supervision is now open in your MyCBE account. At this time, you will only need to register for the lunchroom. Fees will be requested in October.
